Caroline Coppey

Dans l’installation comportementale « La Vie en Rose », un disque astral apparaissant sur un fond obscur évolue lentement et en permanence. Sa couleur et sa texture changent avec le temps : le temps qu’il fait et le temps qui s’écoule. La couleur est froide lorsqu’il fait chaud et chaude lorsqu’il fait froid, le disque frémit à l’approche du spectateur… L’installation établit ainsi un lien entre le « regardeur » et le cosmos, dans une relation de « consolation ».

In the behavioural digital composition « La Vie en Rose », an astral disc appears on a dark background, the aspect of which changes gradually and permanently. Its colour and texture are constantly modified according to time and weather. The colour appears to be cold when the temperature is high, and hot when it is low; the disc quivers when a spectator approaches… In this way, the composition creates a link between the onlooker and the cosmos, in a mutual relationship of « consolation ».
