La peinture au jardin, exposition commandée en juin-juillet 2000 par le Musée Barrois pour
trois espaces publics de la ville de Bar-le-Duc, également présentée en septembre-octobre 2000
à la Kunsthalle d'Erfurt, propose un accrochage en extérieur de 12 peintures sur inox, 10 peintures sur toile et 57
Palettes. Inscrites sur des matériaux translucides ou réfléchissants, les taches colorées
veulent rivaliser avec la vie et l'intensité des couleurs naturelles.
In 2000, the exhibit La peinture au jardin was commissioned by the Barrois Museum for three public places in the city of Bar-le-duc. It was also shown in September-October of that same year at the Kunsthalle in Erfurt, Germany. The exhibit is now set on the outside with 12 paintings on stainless steel, 10 paintings on canvas and 57 Palettes. Painted on translucent or reflective material, the spots of colour tend to interact with the vividness and intensity of natural colours.
